Post-consumer recycled material (PCR) comes from products that have already been used and discarded. 

Post-industrial recycled material (PIR) originates from production and processing waste generated before a product reaches the consumer.

Recycled polymers can replace or reduce the use of virgin materials in many applications. Suitability depends on the technical, processing and regulatory requirements of the specific product and should be assessed for the intended application.

CircMat is the written abbreviation used by PreZero Polymers for Circular Materials in systems and technical documents. 

It is followed by the technical material designation, for example CircMat PP or CircMat HDPE. The new naming convention does not change the agreed material specifications or technical properties.

Depending on the material and grade, available documentation may include Technical Data Sheets, certifications and recycled-content documentation.
